- We ask for a 12 week commitment to ease scheduling and training coordination. You can miss a time or two during this period. Is This the Right Fit for Me?
Volunteers will ideally have a passion for healthy cooking and eating, and for serving our community. We love to have fun while working hard, so a (clean) sense of humor is appreciated! You may need to switch tasks quickly, so flexibility is needed. We do our best to have a full staff weekly, but occasionally unforeseen circumstances do arise, so there may be an occasion where we ask if you can stay late to help get meals out the door and delivered.
About Revive and Thrive Project
We support individuals and their families dealing with serious illness with free, delivered, and nutrient-rich meals along with a community of nurturing support. We involve young people as volunteer chefs who can experience the transforming power of serving and nurturing those in need while developing cooking and healthy eating skills. Educating the broader community about the connections between healthy food & healing is at the heart of what we do.
What to Expect
You will need to complete a volunteer application and attend a volunteer orientation. Applications can be found by visiting our website or contacting our Program Director at email@example.com
